Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Kivita account and what happens when you do.
1. How to Delete Your Account
To delete your account, open the fm365 app and go to:
Settings → Delete Account
Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion.
If you are unable to access the app, contact us at support@kivitapps.com to request account deletion.
2. What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- All transactions and financial records
- Accounts and account balances
- Categories and subcategories
- Projects
- Breakdown profiles
- User preferences and settings
- Encryption keys
- Your authentication account and profile
3. Multi-Device Impact
If you use fm365 on multiple devices with cloud sync enabled:
- All synced devices will be notified of the account deletion
- Local data on each device will be cleared automatically
- You will be signed out on all devices
4. What Is NOT Deleted
Account deletion does not cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately:
- Apple: Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone/iPad
- Google: Go to Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
If you do not cancel your subscription before deleting your account, you may continue to be charged.
5. Export Your Data First
We recommend exporting your data before deleting your account. You can export your financial data from within the app:
Settings → Export Data
Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
6. Deletion Is Permanent
Account deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted:
- Your data cannot be recovered
- Your encryption keys are permanently destroyed
- You cannot restore your transaction history
- Creating a new account will start fresh with no previous data
